The Global Mobile Trends event was very informative as it opened up a new world that I was not 100 percent privy to but it was compelling to learn that global perspectives were the driving force behind mobile dominance. One of the speakers, Ken Madden from OgilvyAction, highlighted the power of apps that both iPhone and Smartphone users now have available to them which is mainly due to the content functionality and broad access that it provides the user with. Overall, there are a plethora of apps available to users and clearly outlined how marketers can maximize their business growth by tapping into this continual trend.
