Programming - Responsible for developing and planning a full calendar of NYAMA events that provides professional development and networking opportunities for the NYC marketing community. Coordinates a variety of monthly events, including Feature Events, Meet the Author Series, and Networking, as well as co-hosting events with partnership organizations.
Marketing Communications (Marcoms) - Responsible for creating a flow of information about the NYAMA to current and potential members and the media. Marcoms utilizes traditional PR techniques, social media platforms and collateral materials to support NYAMA’s events, news and initiatives.
Membership - Responsible for ensuring member benefits to the chapter and outreach to non-members.
Insights - Provides strategic and tactical research learnings about current and prospective members to help inform and guide chapter activities. These insights are gleaned through a number of market research techniques, including online surveys, in-depth interviews, focus groups, and social media mining.
NYAMA Shared Interest Groups:
Shared Interest Groups (SIGs) are mini-communities with other marketers in a particular specialty. If you don't see a SIG for you, you can start a new one! SIGs are a great way to connect with other marketers in your field, specialty, or peer group.
