When you join the New York American Marketing Association you are then able to volunteer for one of our five committees.
Programming – The Programming Committee is responsible for developing and planning a full calendar of NYAMA events that provides professional development and networking opportunities for the NYC marketing community. The committee coordinates a variety of monthly events, including Feature and Networking Events, as well as co-hosting events with partnership organizations.
Marketing Communications (Marcoms) – The Marcoms Committee is responsible for creating a flow of information about the NYAMA to current and potential members and the media. Marcoms utilizes traditional PR techniques, social media platforms and collateral materials to support NYAMA’s events, news and initiatives.
Membership – The Membership Committee is responsible for ensuring member benefits to the chapter and outreach to non-members.
Insights – The Insights Committee provides strategic and tactical research learnings about current and prospective members to help inform and guide chapter activities. These insights are gleaned through a number of market research techniques, including online surveys, in-depth interviews, focus groups, and social media mining.
Marketing Hall of Fame – The Marketing Hall of Fame Committee provides support to the re-launched prestigious award that is dedicated to recognizing people who are making outstanding contributions to the field of marketing and celebrates the achievements of three great marketers at a yearly award gala.
